Who we are
We are located in the Department of Biosciences of the University of Milan. Due to the nature of computational work, we collaborate both in person and online.
The group includes the PI, yours truly, and students with a passion for AI, computational modeling, statistics, and affine topics. Lab members belong to several institutions. Currently, lab members are:
Francesco Santoro, pre-doctoral fellow at IBF-CNR
Olga Simbari, master student at the University of Pavia
Milad Ansari, master student at the University of Milan
Interested in joining? Drop me an email. We do have an opening for PhD students, as well as thesis (master project) opportunities.
In the past I've lectured for courses including:
Fondamenti di Informatica Laboratorio (Dept. of Engineering and Computers Science, University of Pavia, Italy);
Molecular Simulations (Master in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain);
High Performance Computing (Master in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences, UPF);
Fonts i tecnologies de la informació (Biologia Humana, UPF).
